Last year, the kid participated in a science program for young children and one of the subjects they focused on was robotics. The kids had a great time and learned a bit about the many different ways robots are used and the basics of simple robots. It was such a hit, the kid keeps asking to do the program again. Today’s lunch features robots for all those junior engineers out there!
Packed in our green Bentgo box:
Robot Sandwich: whole wheat bread with sunbutter and superfruit spread, with the face and legs made from the heel for contrast
Freeze Dried Broccoli and Blueberries
Gear Shaped Applegate Naturals American Cheese in a mini silicone cup
Chocolate Chips, packed underneath a robot ring in a mini silicone cup
Turkey Pepperoni with Applegate Honey Maple Turkey Gears, in a rectangular silicone cup
Carrot Sticks, accented with a robot ring in a rectangular silicone cup
Bite Sized Strawberries and Wrench Shaped Apple Slices in a rectangular silicone cup
Hummus for dipping, packed in a Bentgo sauce container
One of the coolest things about this bento is that it was made using 1 cutter set – the CuteZCute Robo Bread cutter. If you have a robot obsessed kid, it’s a great set to invest in. It has so many different cutters and stampers all in one neat package, and you can use it over and over again to make different kinds of robots out of all different kinds of food.
