It’s hard to believe we’re already halfway through March! We’re looking forward to donning our green clothes tomorrow and seeing what the leprechauns have done at school. Today we have St. Patrick’s Day fun lunches for both the kid and for the grownup.
For the kid, in our ThinkSport GO2 box:
Shamrock Sandwich, surrounded by Shamrock Shaped Cheese
Stonyfield Organic Plain Yogurt, dyed green and topped with gold and shamrock sprinkles
Green Grapes with a few Bite Sized Strawberries on a leprechaun hat pick
Hummus, packed in a small clover container
Celery Sticks, accented with a shamrock cupcake ringThis was the first time I packed yogurt in the GO2, and have to say that the leakproof feature is excellent! No spills between compartments or out of the box.
Mr. Bento Ninja’s EasyLunchboxes bento is filled with green as well:
Turkey, Mustard and Sun Dried Tomatoes on a Spinach Wrap, cut into thirds and kept secure with a Pot of Gold and St. Patrick’s Day picks
Sriracha Lime Cashews in a green mini beer mug
Pineapple, accented with a leprechaun hat pick
Sugar Snap Peas with a Kiss Me cupcake ring
And one more for Mr. Bento Ninja – my new PlanetBox Shuttle arrived yesterday, and it’s so delightfully petite! Don’t let it’s small size fool you – you can easily pack this tiny box with tons of food.
Turkey, Onion and Mustard on a Brioche Roll, with an Irish flag toothpick to keep it together
Sugar Snap Peas
Pineapple, Green Grapes, and Kiwi, accented with a St. Patrick’s Day pick
Yogurt, not pictured
Happy St. Patrick’s Day, everyone!
