Keeping up with the Back to School theme, I made a crayon (bento) box for the second day. I made the crayon by free cutting the bread and using a leftover piece of crust and food markers to decorate it. I used Wilton food markers, but found them difficult to use – the color was hard to control, and tended to bleed. After consulting other bento blogs, I ordered these Gourmet Writers for the future. The crayon picks can be found on Amazon and other bento supply sites.

Hard Boiled Egg: This was my second time using an egg mold, after the first two tries, I realized I would have better luck with Extra Large Eggs instead of my usual Large.
