Our Scout Elf, affectionately named “Mr. Elf” back when my kid was 2, has been somewhat lazy this year – he moves every night, but that’s about it. I think he’s been looking over my shoulder at Instagram and Pinterest, because he got his tush in gear this morning with a nice addition to our breakfast!
I’ve been trying to make our morning routine a little easier, and decided to start packing breakfast boxes at night. I started last night, and Mr. Elf was watching – he left us a note to let us know that he wanted to get in on the fun, so we had a mini North Pole Breakfast before school!
In our Easy Lunchboxes, with adjustments made for preferences:
Mr. Bento Ninja and the Kid have Hard Boiled Eggs with “Good Morning” written on with food markers,
Bento Ninja has Roasted Peanuts
Christmas Tree Silicone Cups with Strawberries for Mr. Bento Ninja and the Kid, Pineapple for Bento Ninja
In each box’s mini dipper: Pumpkin Seeds (the Kid), Nature Valley Oats N’ Honey Granola (Bento Ninja), Almonds (Mr. Bento Ninja)
I added Applegate Chicken and Apple Breakfast Sausage on the side, and packed the kid’s box with our new Pick-Ease set – this was the first time we used them, and they were a hit!
